Dr.Conner,
I can see that Sec:602 are already divided into groups. Does Sec :799 have to make groups too? No one has come forward to join me as yet. Should I proceed by myself ?
Outline for the Proposal
Thanks,
Mili
Let's put this out for the whole wiki to consider. Clusters have emerged in section 602, but section 799 don't have face-time to figure out group arrangements. Mili, you could lead the way and use wiki and IM to directly approach peers. You have a strong outline here, and this should solicit interested collaborators.
But brings another question to mind: can students in 799 join a 602 group? I think so, on a case-by-case basis. Say, for example, a student in 799 is doing excellent work, like Mili. Using wiki, IM, and social bookmarking, said student could keep in tune with a 602 project, and do her/his share of the work. However, at the same time, 799 students should already be applying these same communication strategies to create groups. So, Mili, since you already have a project that you'd like to pursue, forge ahead, create a project page, and, using your best professional communication skills, share this link with your 799 peers. If you or anyone in 799 would like to join a 602 group, use efficacious professional commmunication strategies to approach the members of that group.
I'll tune closely to this page until we find project itineraries for all 799 students.

Dr. Conner,
I am so confused about the group work. I am in the online class, and really have no idea how to form a group on here with no face-to-face time... I have posted on a few people's pages, but I don't know what to do. Also, on the course calendar, it will say "week _" and then say that something is due sunday night... is that the sunday night at the end of that week? or the sunday before those dates? I am so confused about when posts are always due in this class. Please help me clarify this.
Thanks so much!
Heather
